Finding the perfect spot to snap the ultimate New York City skyline from Weehawken turned into something like a quest from my favorite RPG. Out of nowhere, this deserted rooftop was like, “Yo, come check me out! No fancy elevator, just my determination and a sprinkle of luck took me to the top. Man, that climb was intense. Strapped with my camera gear, every step up the shaky, abandoned scaffolding felt like advancing to the next level in a video game.
As I climbed, dodging around a locked door and guiding through what felt like a maze of metal and shadows, the excitement built up inside me like a beat about to drop at a killer concert.
When I finally made it to the peak, I was overwhelmed by the view, the lights, the energy of the city—it was stunning. I gazed at the vast expanse of New York City, with its sparkling lights flickering across the towering skyscrapers, resembling stars in a serene night sky. I finally felt like I was part of the city’s best-kept secret.
